SWFF (Study With Family and Friends)
What is study with family
and friends?
Study with Family and Friends (SWFF) is CQU's way of
thanking you for doing what you do anyway; talking to your
friends or family about your experiences at CQU.
And then you often help them find out more information and
even fill in their application.
Your thank-you is designed to help your studies and may
include textbook bursaries, a computer, travel vouchers or
reduced fees.
How can 'studying with family and friends' improve my
results?
Academics and student welfare staff will tell you that
students who have a good social network at university
usually cope better with their studies. This is because
assignments, exam preparation, social contact, language
difficulties, and day-to-day activities are all made easier
and more enjoyable when they are shared experiences.
A social network also helps overcome the feelings of
isolation and homesickness caused by being in a new country.
SWFF enables you to benefit from sharing your study
experiences with friends and family.
Please fill in the form below if you have a friend for
family member who would like to study with you at CQU.
Disclaimer: please advise your family or friend CQU will make contact to assist in their decision making process.
Am I eligible to join SWFF?
SWFF is open to you if you are currently studying at a CQU Australian International Campus (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne or Sydney).
