If I need help to connect?
If you need assistance in connecting to the CQURoam Wireless Network then
please go the IT Helpdesk on Level 4.
Please Note: The IT Helpdesk will only support issues related to
connecting to the CQURoam network. They will not advise on any other issues
regarding laptops or mobile devices.
Can students access the S and U drives using wireless?
The CQURoam wireless network is separate to the student network so
there is no direct access to the S or U drives.
However, if you would like to access your personal files (U drive), you can
connect using the online FTP service. Just type
ftp://studhome.cqu.edu.au in your
web browser and log in using your CQU username and password.
Can students print using wireless?
Unfortunately there is no access to the campus printers from the
wireless network. You will need to use the laboratory computers to print out
any material.
Can I use CQURoam wireless in other CQU campuses?
Yes. You will be able to use your CQURoam account in any CQU campus
that has wireless services available.
